Synopsis

"It Doesn't have to be this Way" This issue serves as a recap of the state of mutant-human relations. Professor X acts as narrator by writing an article meant to preface his international book tour to support his latest work. As he discusses the sociological place in society mutants have, various vignettes are presented showing both The X-Men and the The Brotherhood living their day to day lives. These scenes reveal Beast regularly chats with Blob, although Beast thinks it is a girl. There is another scene with Professor X visiting an art museum with Quicksilver and Scarlet With. The most shocking scene is one where Professor X and Colossus are walking through a park when the Professor shows Collosus that Magento is there, still alive but with his memory erased.
